I’m Kate Jeremiah, a Melbourne copywriter & editor
I help small and medium-sized businesses share their stories, connect with customers and increase sales.
My copywriting goals
- To give you time back in your day to focus on what you do best, while I take care of your content and copywriting needs.
- To craft engaging copy that makes you stand out from the competition and compels your ideal customers to act.
- To share your brand story in a meaningful way that connects with your audience.
- To nurture your customers at any stage of the buying journey, ultimately helping turn customers into brand advocates.
As a copywriter, it's my job to write persuasively for any business, audience or purpose. To achieve this, I’ll spend time getting to know your business, customers and industry before your project kicks off.

My copywriting credentials
Why hire me over other copywriters?
I like to think I have the perfect combination of copywriting, business and marketing qualifications and know-how to support your business.
I hold a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from RMIT University. I've also completed some of Australia's best copywriting and feature writing courses at Deakin University, The Australian Writers’ Centre and Copywrite Matters.
What's more, before starting my freelance copywriting business, I worked for more than 10 years in marketing, communications and events in Australia and the UK. This included roles in publishing, fashion, dairy, finance, mortgages, education and childcare.
Most recently I was the Communications Manager for a not-for-profit specialising in early childhood education.
All this experience means that not only can I write great copy, but I can also support you with social media and events strategy and communication planning.
What's it like to work with me?
Well, my clients and past colleagues describe me as highly skilled, professional, creative, thoughtful, calm, approachable, committed and organised. They also say I'm a clever wordsmith with a scrupulous eye for detail.

I’m also friendly, reliable, respectful and a clear communicator, which means you'll find working with me stress-free and enjoyable. And who wouldn't want that?

Random facts about me
My passion for writing started at the tender age of six, when I published my first book, Trees. I then went on to pen Small One's Trip to Sydney, for which I received my primary school's highly prized Principal’s Award.
I drove my year 12 English teacher, Mrs Gainey, mad writing multiple essays a day in preparation for my final English exam. For years after, she used me as an example of (over) dedication when meeting new students.
When I’m not writing and editing, you’ll find me practising yoga or tennis, enjoying delicious food, wine and coffee with family and friends, travelling, shopping for homewares or clothes, reading, listening to podcasts or watching my favourite TV shows or movies.
